We wish would remember to take “before” photos, but imagine this small master bathroom with plain white walls and an unremarkable floor tile. We started with wall painting and cabinet painting since we were getting rid of the floor tile anyway. Next, we installed the chic gray subway tile in the shower and added the slate decorative accent tile for an extra pop! Since the customer had extra tile (always a good move as some tiles come cracked or need to be cut) , we went ahead and installed the gray subway tile as a back splash above the vanity granite counter tops.
Next, the plain mirror needed help! We cut the barnwood lumber to frame out the mirror. With the extra barnwood, we installed a chair rail by the toilet. Installing the beautiful rich, spicy oak laminate flooring was next. This really made the bathroom pop! The baseboards were previously plain pieces of lumber. We gave them a nice edge, painted them white and reinstalled.
The Barndoor was the last to tackle on the bathroom remodel. Removing the old door that took up a lot of space in the tiny master bathroom, it immediately opened up the bathroom. We installed the new barndoor to make sure our customer loved it before staining it. This would allow them to return the door if they were not happy with the barndoor. But who wouldn’t be happy with this beauty?? We easily removed the door, stained it and reinstalled. The barndoor is truly the focal point.
Finally, our customer needed more light in their loft master bedroom, so we stained and installed a French Door. And wow! The French Door pulled the entire room together.
